Food insecurity rates in the U.S. have skyrocketed over the last five years And Feeding America and its member food banks have risen to the challenge, feeding 37 million people annually with the goal to provide 2.1 billon meals for families, 1.4 billion meals for children and 304 million meals for seniors annually by 2018.
